Hooky Comic Magazine No.1 PDF
Hooky Comic Magazine is a collection of goofy and thoughtful comics and doodlesinfluenced by my childhood in Canada watching Saturday Morning cartoons, reading Mad Magazine and Tintin—combined with my later life in Scandinavia where I absorbed Moomin and Pippi.
Hooky No.1 contains reviews of films, comics, music, tv shows, podcasts and books; some prose about being a working artist; tips on how to be a nice casual cyclist and a description of a DIY project being undertaken in the woods outside Stockholm, Sweden.
Hooky looks like a proper magazine, but it is more of a “fancy zine” which uses self-publishing tools rather than a Xerox machine to find its way out into the world. (Like this PDF thingy!)
If you like this, you really ought to get your hands on the paper version! Go to lukism.com, or ask your local bookstore to order it for you:)
You’ll get the PDF of the magazine!
